stressed onion

switching

Yahoo360 has finally hit a nerve... I've lost 3 entries and they were good entries too. I've finally decided that I'm switching over and will not be using my 360 ever!!! Crappy yahoo people. Die and go to hell! I wish I've switched earlier.

Now what the hell am I going to do with my posts at yahoo? I want to transfer them here but the date of entry won't be right but I also don't want to lose them. *sob* Damn you yahoo360 people. I wish you all go to hell.

Korean

NEW SKILL

SWEET!!! As of today, I can finally say that I can read Korean symols!!! However, I can only read them but cannot understand but hell!!! that's better than not being able to read at all. I was actually surprised how simple and easy it was to learn the Korean alphabet. I thought it was complicated what with all that squares, lines and circles all stacked up together. But when I finally found the guts to study them and figure them out I was actually suprised to find myself understanding Korean symbols and getting the hang of it in just minutes! It's actually a lot more easier than the Japanese alphabet. Actually, I think I like Korean alphabets more than Japanese alphabets. With Japanese, it took me a week to learn all of them and get them all down because they all kinda looked the same to me so I had a hell of a time memorizing them. Seriously though, learning Korean alphabets is really that easy I think anybody could do it.

My problem with the Korean language is the pronunciation. Hella hard trying to get those right. My tongue gets all twisted up trying to pronunce those darn diphthongs and consonant clusters. They drive me crazy especially since the meaning of a word changes as the pronunciation changes. Those consonant clusters bug me the most cause I can't figure out which of the two sounds will disappear when pronounced. In this aspect of the language, I sure am loving Japanese more. No tongue-rolling skills are needed to be able pronounce the syllables correctly. Japanese syllables are more simple and very clean-cut. Oh well, I guess every language has their own complicated aspects. Still, I am really enjoying myself trying to learn all these new languages. It's really nice to be able to understand things that you were never able to understand before. I kinda get this elated feeling when I'm able to decipher words in another language. Plus I get to learn a little about their culture too which is oh so much fun.

Anways, I will go back to my chart now and practice to write and read some more Korean words. Then maybe I'll go and try to see if I can figure out how to write my name in Hangeul.

GO MICHELLE!!! AJA AJA HWAITING!!!!
